Cosmetic product developer Syeira (Sierra) Simon is a driven, hard-working, and creative individual with a 14-year work history in the cosmetics industry. After studying art abroad at the University of Cambridge, in Paris and East Asia, she obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Beauty Marketing and Product Development at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising/FIDM. While in school, she was a member of the Honor Roll and the Prestigious Beauty Circle.

Syeira continues to stay passionate and laser-focused in her industry. After FIDM, she graduated from Make-Up Designory as a Master Make-up Artist and was then selected out of her class to manage the school's Makeup Laboratory. She continues to learn and attended FIT's Beauty Essentials Program and the newly offered Bachelor of Science in Beauty Business Management Program at FIDM. In addition, Syeira has worked as a celebrity make-up artist and was selected to compete at the International Makeup Artistry Tradeshow. She has also traveled domestically and abroad to present the latest cosmetic formulas and has worked with beauty brands such as Sephora, Bare Minerals, and Maybelline.

Syeira loves the beauty industry because it provides a creative outlet for self-expression and brings hope and empowerment to consumers. It also helps strengthen communities by providing a social outlet via salons, barbershops, and studios. When consumers visit these businesses, they can create lifelong friendships and confidants.
